Copyright Checkpoint BETA

About this tool

Cultural institutions increasingly want to share their collections but face challenges because of the resources required to create, maintain, and migrate metadata and the complexities of intellectual property rights issues. We created Copyright Checkpoint to make determining rights easier, increase and improve the usage of rights statements, and broaden the visibility and discoverability of heritage collections worldwide.

Copyright Checkpoint was built with the generous support of the Institute of Museum and Library Services. The IMLS advances, supports, and empowers America's museums, libraries, and related organizations through grantmaking, research, and policy development.
